Working Out: Dealing With Setbacks

I am sick ya'll. Wah, wah, wah! Sinus infection, sore throat and no one here to baby me. Whine, whine, whine!

The first couple days, I was tired but I pushed through my workout. Then, the sore throat, tiredness and dizzyness came. A doctor's visit and meds and all I wanted to do was sleep. You want to know what? It is okay.

This whole experience is teaching me to know and respect my limits. Starting this working out kick, I pushd my limits. I went from moderate exercise into the Insanity workout and 30 minute jogs. I learned to ignore the pain. Facing pain is necessary to become stronger. It is also very important to respect my body. I want to be fine not injured. lol

Oh, the lessons learned in my everyday life! I have experiened the silence and the much needed rest. I am ready or the comeback!

Stay tuned.

*PS* My mommy texted me to see how I was doing. She didn't call because my voice was sore and she didnt think I could talk. This is truly a brave new world. lol Love this woman!
