It is being reported that Fantasia Barrino will return as Celie in the stage production of The Color Purple for a three-month run.

It was widely reported that Barrino missed 50 shows during the show's Broadway run. Apparently, Barrino made the show so much money they are willing to let bygones be bygones.

I would love to see 'Tasia Mae as Miss Celie, singing and catching the Holy Ghost on stage. I'm just saying.
