Another Day, Another Compliment

The right compliment from the right guy can turn a blue day around.

I decided to become a bit more strategic with the flirtation. I put the exact flower, that this guy said was fake, on the left side of my hair to see what he would say.

Well, today, he looked at me and said, "Your hair, the flower, everything. . .you look so beautiful." I almost died. lol

Then he said he was in a hurry and could not stay.

What?

So what should my next step be?

Ironically, The Kid shoots me an email asking when can we hang out. I told him I would let him know. Was that rude?

Help me out here.

**Updated** The "Kid" is a separate guy (younger) very different from the guy who gives the compliments (older.) See this post.

  1. OK. I think you’re Bi-Polar:) You’ll let him know??? OMG. The game can only be played for so long until someone quits. Ask him what he’s doing next friday or something. Be interested but not desperate, spark a good conversation and if its right, it’ll work out. Just do the dang thing already:)

  2. I am talking about two different guys, Melle Mel – The Puerto Rican and The Kid. The Kid is younger than I am the Puerto Rican is older. You have to read the previous posts to keep up. Bi-Polar, OMG that's mean. lol

  3. If you are truly interested, tell him you’d like to hang out and suggest a day/place/time.
If you aren’t then what you did should suffice without being out right rude and saying never!
He may take your response as you not really wanting to chill.

  4. See? I told you a flower on the left would get you some attention. But later with “The Kid”. Try the flower on the Rican guy. If he sees you with that flower in your hair, I’ll bet he won’t be able to resist you.
