I like her singing lots. But please tell me about the song itself. To me, it sounds like it pokes fun at upper class privilage (and rightly so, if I may add).
It’s from the play A Little Night Music. The song is basically being song by a child whose mother selfishly left her with someone to pursue her own career. The child is secretly wishing for her mother but hides it with this ode to her mom’s “Glamorous Life.”
