I can’t front…I like me some John Mayer. I did like this cover except for the chorus. Wasn’t diggin’ the way he handled that part.
I read that critique somewhere else. I guess I am not too familiar with the original to draw stark contrasts but he does not have a good strong voice like Tom Petty, so he sang it kinda mello.
