I decided that if I am going to pontificate my political beliefs on this blog, then I better have some actions to back it up. Faith without works is dead, right? I truly believe that Senator Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States.

The Dallas County Democratic Party had a PARTAAAYY!!

Uh, not really. It was more of a meet and greet with local politicians. We also got a tour of the facilities, which includes a phone bank in a swanky little office. It’s really the kind of place one could volunteer in and not feel like it’s work.

I will keep you guys updated on how this works out.

*side note* I am soo glad I had my foam hand sanitizer with me. Shaking hands and eating finger food is not the ticket.
