I have decided to do a Milk Carton series on the artists and personalities I love but who have been MIA. First on the list is Miss Lauryn Hill. I know I have posted on her before, but clearly the world has not realized the urgency of this situation. This is Lauryn circa 1995

If anyone has seen this woman, let her know that her contribution to music is sorely missed. Please tell her she can come back home no questions asked. Ten years is a long time to be gone.
I had a conversation with a couple of friends who had personal encounters with her. She began losing her mind a long time ago. I imagine its probably dirt right now. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for her to come back, but it would be dope.

Bitterness and unforgiveness can lead to insanity. A lot of mental illness is undiagnosed in the black community because we are so quick to label real insanity as black anger.I hope her family does not give her the “Michael Jackson because you are a muscial genius we will ignore your outrageous antics/get out of jail free” card and get her some help. Lawd, help this muscial genius because I miss her gift, PLEASE.
